The new technology has given us some very intelligent robots, which can perform various tasks like us. And may be in coming future the robots will become so intelligent that they would be governing us.
Till now robots work individually or a group of robots work under a master computer. U of A computing science professor Hong Zhang has started to work on a biologically inspired approach to make such robots, which can work like a team. These kind of robots will be able to take best decision for performing a group task in most efficient way. They would no be governed by any other central computer s in case of The U of A’s soccer-bots.
The scientist wants the robots to work like group of aunts who work in democracy to decide any next move.
He has already started the work and already designed such robots, which can lift a load collectively. Still he is doing research to develop more sophisticated co-operative robots by implementing complex computer algorithms.
The design of such kind of robots will be of great use as a group of robots will be able to complete a work very quickly as compared to a single robot. These kind of robots will also respond better to adversity.
