Japan-based company called Figla has unveiled its latest machine known as Multipurpose Network Service Robot. This Japanese janitor robot has flexibility to perform many different tasks but it apparently acts as a floor cleaner.
This janitor robot comes equipped with combinations of infrared, gyroscopes, bumper sensors and ultrasonics. It can navigate uneven grounds to scrub floors with its dustpan or brush and can also spot and avoid obstacles coming in its way.
Its built-in camera uses Wi-Fi to relay video back to a screen or control station that enable users to feed instructions or monitor progress. It can also respectfully apologize via non-verbal communication at times he strikes anyone feet.
Price of this Figla’s machine is not yet announced but it will hit the market some time next year.
