Earlier I told you about the stair climbing robot that was developed by students at the Waseda University. This robot also had a chair mounted on two legs.

Well here is a much attractive version of the robot that is dubbed HUBO FX-1.

The HUBO FX-1 is a humanoid robot that happens to have a seat on top of it instead of its head.

The user has to just sit on the chair and navigate using the joysticks provided on the arm rest of the chair.

The machine is 6-foot tall and weighs 330-pounds. With this much it can carry a passenger who weighs 220-pounds and can also turn in all directions.
