A team of scientists at the Tokyo University lately displayed their new robots that are efficient enough to do more intricate household jobs but still they need to learn more. Among an array of new robotic items, they showed off two new humanoid robots. The HRP-2W humanoid is able to do the household works like asking for help. During the demonstration, the HRP-2W humanoid went to the kitchen counter, where another two-legged humanoid grabbed a plastic bottle to pour tea into a cup. The next challenge before the team is to enable machines to handle unanticipated situations. They need to learn more to adapt themselves to the ever-changing situations.
