Swiss researchers develop evolving robots
Some Swiss researchers have developed the world’s first robots that can evolve and also can communicate in swarms. When these robots were given a choice between pirated music and music legally purchased from iTunes, five out of the six opted for legal iTunes music. In the demonstration robots choose ‘food’ instead of ‘poison’. Food was represented by an apple which was quite different from the Apple logo as it did not have a bite eaten and poison was represented by the universal symbol of piracy. Check out for a video demonstration after the break.
