The most difficult part in designing a robot is balancing it. NASA engineers have found a brilliant solution to this problem. They have designed a new kind of robot known as ‘ TET walker‘. The robot masters the principle of gravity, shifting its centre of gravity by changing shape.
It is tetrahedral in shape and moves by changing the length of the telescopic struts connected to electric motors on each node.
NASA is still trying to reduce the size and modify the robot employing nanotechnology to make it usable in their further space projects in exploring the universe. The idea will open brilliant opportunities for us to know our universe in a better manner. All the credit goes to NASA for their remarkable work.
